Workshop on Legal Aspects of Automated Driving – 17 September 2015

AdaptIVe held a project workshop on legal aspects of automated driving on 17 September 2015 at the Federation of French Car Manufacturers in Paris, France.

Speakers presented a wide array of topics, sharing their expertise from a legal, industry, or public authority point of view.  The first half of the day featuring speakers such as Wolfgang Hoefs presenting the position of the European Commission or Maxime Flament introducing European measures, highlighting the German, Swedish, French, and British legislative efforts. The second half of the day put the emphasis on data privacy and insurance with speakers Sophie Nerbonne, Director of Compliance, Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL) and Stéphane Pénet, Director of Insurance of property and liability at the French Federation of the French Insurers.
